While the watches based on the original Cadman watch are all called American 1921, there is actually one earlier version of this design in Vacheron's archives, which was completed in 1919. That model has a dial with radium-painted Arabics, and instead of having the crown to the left, it's located at the upper montres citizen eco drive right, with the dial rotated to link the link right as well.
