          It takes the Brain in layers so, Doctors can look for abnormalities (Tumors, aneursym, bleeding, brain damage, etc.) to help determine causes/expected causes of various ailments, they use this for R/O (Rule Out) for diagnostic purposes and plan of treatment.

            MRI'S align things up and shows soft tissue injuries.
