Well, when I met Pim Koeslag, CEO of the link Dutch brand, at Watches and Wonders in Geneva a few weeks ago, he showed me a new version of it, this time with a case crafted from a 1.But let's not make this review a summary of technical details. In the end, even though I appreciate Omega's innovating character a lot, it is about emotion and how you (and I) feel about [wearing] the watch.In today's Speedmaster-obsessed world, this is one of the more sought-after and difficult to come across editions to burst out of OMEGA's doors in the past few years. Around every corner, in every detail, this watch really does deliver. The demand is warranted for what OMEGA does here, taking real authentic heritage and blending it with a bit of fun in an extremely classy combination that is sure to keep you coming back for more with every wear.Aside from the screen, the dial is a glassy black that supports solar charging for the movement. The hands use a somewhat incongruous polished metal surround (it feels out of place, given the matte black of the rest of the design). That being said, legibility is great. I appreciate that these hands offer lume and that the lume application for the hands and dial is solid enough for day-to-day use (especially given the lack of a backlight for the screen).
