Right now I only have the Omega 321, but before the holiday I hope to be selling the Omega 1861, Valjoux 72 and link the Longines 13ZN. I like classic manual-wind chronographs. After that, I may do the Heuer cal 11 or 12 and the Zenith El Primero movement. Now, taking a novel from the page to screen can often be fraught with issues. It's well-documented that Stephen King had his share of frustrations with the way Stanley Kubrick adapted The Shining, going so far as to publicly denounce the film itself. On this recent It endeavor, however, King was more closely involved with the production, and even makes a cameo appearance on-screen.The exhibit is holistic; you see plenty of physical watches. The Cartier collection room is filled with treasure from the 1970s and beyond as well as present day models. It's satisfying to see a case with pristine historical examples of Tortue and Tonneau all lined up in a row. Or a vitrine with a Baignoire, an Allongee and a Crash lined up side-by-side: the perfect illustration of the shapes and their evolution. It's a Cartier dream world.
The Maltese-cross-inspired bezel and bracelet of the post-2004 and pre-2016 Overseas models were so angular and prominent that it was hard to see the watches’ origins. Not only do they offer link the charm of a mechanical caliber, but the dials also have extra depth and detail thanks to the standout "waffle" pattern. That might be due to aging, but I also noticed a stronger demand for dress watches recently. The United States led the way as the largest export market, up 26 percent year-over-year. Sure, other countries have their own limited-edition Seikos (here in the US we have the Prospex SLA053 and SLA059), but link they're few and far between. Thailand was doing LE drops years before it became trendy. And to a link Western audience, many of these pieces remain obscure.
