        @ mat21225 If my memory is correct it was the DEMOCRATS that balanced the budget (CLINTON ERA), Then came BUSHONOMICS and REPUBLICANS and drove us so deep our grandchildren will feel the effects. OBAMA and DEMOCRATS only inherited the blame.

            The trickle down theory started during the Reagan era. It was supposed if the rich got their taxes cut they would spend more, improve the economy and the money would eventually trickle down to the poor. So I said, open up the hydrants, because the trickle isn't enough.

            Excellent plan... but not an immediate solution since you would have to starve the lazy, and their unfortunate juvenile dependents, into working.
