Beyond technical specs and finishing, the more I observed and researched this link watch, the more I fell in love with its very 90s aesthetic. I love the rounded edges of the "dial" and the screws holding it to the outer link chapter link ring. It's quite charming!

My dad was never given a watch growing up. I'm link not sure he link got a graduation link gift at all. And although he found success as an adult in the north, his southern sensibilities dictated that gifting something as luxurious as an Omega watch (especially to a kid) was unwise, bordering on uncouth.

Then there's the Cadenas on a strap, where the contrast of the gold link and the leather creates a tougher look. It's cool in a 1985 Angelica Houston smoking a cigarette in a white tank link top, jodhpurs, and black riding boots kind of way. The padlock and leather combination has an Hermes quality, and it has vintage appeal without being purely retro. Listen, not to link sound trite, but the Cadenas is just chic.
