We spent time with De Bethune at Geneva Watch Days 2024 and saw several upcoming releases. One was the new DB28XP Steel Wheels Tourbillon, an immediately recognizable watch. It features the brand's signature case style and arrow-tipped bridge on the dial. Like most De Bethune watches, this is a limited edition. We may never see one in the wild, but it still deserves a closer look.It saves precious time and prevents you from buying the "wrong" stuff.It is worth noting that, unlike the smaller 39mm Automatic Spitfire, IWC has maintained the single line of text on link the 43mm Big Pilot versions, as neither watch bears the Spitfire wordmark. Both watches are powered by the same IWC-manufactured 82100 calibre movement found in the standard 43mm Big Pilot with 60 hours of power reserve.The LVRR-01 is the opposite – giving us everything we would want in an over-the-top complicated and branded watch in an actually good watch that stands on its own as a product even without the names attached to it.
