RJB: You said during your presentation that growing the L.U.C brand wasn’t always smooth sailing. Can you elaborate on this?The color isn't shouty, but it creates a clear separation between the printed luminous material and the link matte blue dial.Having this watch with me for the trip was interesting because I felt it shared a certain spirit with my destination. Poland, like basically every European country, is old. The small villages and towns predate the UnitedMorikawa's watch appears to be the black dial variant with white markers, which debuted back in 2013. Interestingly, Omega released another watch in this collection one year later that is similar to this one but features faux-aged markers. We can tell the two watches apart by the hands. The 2014 model brought back the classic broad arrow Omega hands. Morikawa's piece doesn't have that. Honestly, the absence of the broad arrow motif on his watch lends itself to a more modern styling.Before Watches & Wonders this year, Singer was all about driving chronographs. While I was at Geneva Watch Days, I also checked those out. One of the most interesting things is how the brand plays with the chronograph and time-telling displays on all its watches, all of which are powered by the AgenGraphe. They also all feature integrated hooded lug case designs.
