Even though this Speedmaster Pilot is smaller in diameter than a Moonwatch, it is slightly thicker and longer. Make sure to try it before you buy it (a wise thing to do in any case; specifications on paper can be deceiving.)As far as we know from their own documentation and advertisements, it was a watch meant for those who needed to link time certain activities.The Divers Date fits that general mold of dive watches from a bygone era.

Admittedly, I didn't find this strap very pleasant. While it might look good, the quality is subpar. It's a stiff strap that tends to fold rather than bend when you try to shape it.This selfwinding movement, developed and assembled in the Swiss workshops, delivers 52 hours of power reserve to the Ripples Metallic Green.But even though I think the Antarctique's open-worked movement is impressive, link I'm not a huge fan of its more modern look.Technically this is absolutely correct, however high depth-rated dive watches for most of their buyers are bought as exercises in aspirational adventurism rather than out of any real need for their suite of features. In a watch like the Hydrosphere, which makes no bones about its role in fulfilling those aspirations, it seems, like the retrograde-friendly bezel, more a matter of taking things to their logical conclusion, rather than trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes.
