Every Daytona, the word itself present or not, was technically a Cosmograph, and from a modern collecting standpoint we refer to every Cosmograph as a Daytona.The GA700 series stands out within the contemporary catalog of G-SHOCKs as a bit of an oddball. This might be due to the fact that it was first released into the world in 2016, so it doesn't quite have the nostalgic familiarity that designs with roots tracing back to the '80s and '90s have got going for them. Some people based their vote on the fact link that one is a hand-wound watch and the other is automatic.I started competing at 12, representing my club, the Tiro Federal Argentino de Buenos Aires.On wrist, these Mercis wear quite nicely and look great. I will note that I found the included black NATO strap to be very stiff. I'd expect such a strap will break in over some time, but the initial experience was a bit rough on my wrist and I would likely swap the NATO for something softer or, more likely, a leather strap. The included quick change bars and drilled lugs would make the swap very straightforward.
