The new Arnold & Son Globetrotter is an eye-catching world time wristwatch, with an independently settable hour hand and a very large 3-D Earth, showing the Northern Hemisphere as seen from directly above the North Pole. The EaThis link is a larger watch, at 45mm but of course it's obvious at a glance that it is not the ambition of the Globetrotter to coyly peek out from under your cuff as you discretely check the time during a dull meeting. In person it should be very punchy visually indeed, and we're looking forward to seeing in the metal, during this year's Baselworld.Pulling the bright blue steel example from its protective case, I gave the crown a couple of gentle turns and could not help but smile as the balance wheel began to dance and the power reserve slowly climbed with each revolution of the crown.Just as was the case with the Movado watches next to the Patek Philippes at the Tiffany & Co. watch counter back in the day, this humble Movado deserves your attention and wrist time.
