I have a PIXMA iP90v Canon printer. It has quit working because of low battery. It is plugged into the electrical outlet. I have turned it off, uplugged it, plugged it back in, turned the printer on and it still gives me the low battery warning. How do I make it forget the battery and use the electrical outlet?

This printer is way out of warrenty so I will be happy to pay for tech support

Unplug it again, then remove the battery. Wait a few minutes, put the battery back in and then plug the printer in. See if it still gives you a low battery warning then.
