Was Iblis an angel or a jinn? I’ve seen two different claims.
I’ve read some sources saying Iblis was among the angels, and others saying he was actually a jinn who lived with them.
These two explanations sound contradictory, so I’m confused.
Which one is considered the correct view in Islamic teachings?
