Bell & Ross made the dial look like the original heading indicator instrument, using the W, E, S and hour indicator (N) on the hour disc. The yellow plane and hour (white and yellow) indices are engraved in (or better: under) the sapphire crystal.My favorite is the one in sage green, which matches the daytime portion of the 24-hour bezel.On its dial, an off-center disc displays the hours and minutes in a more minimalist manner.
