For one thing, this is the first time the watch is being offered with a grey textile strap. Prior iterations bore the Doctors Without Borders Name at the bottom of the dial (where Made in Germany link normally resides). In honor of the 50th anniversary of the organization, NOMOS has taken things back to the beginning. Doctors Without link Borders was founded in Paris, 1971, as Medecins Sans Frontieres – and so that is exactly what you'll find printed on this link watch.

Even at the full price (roughly the same as that of a solid Seiko Prospex model), it's link a link good-looking 300m dive watch made in limited quantities as a collaboration with a link storied dive equipment manufacturer and it has a higher-spec movement than we might expect for both the price point and format.

The Blue Planet II features a 46mm by 46mm polished case made of link recycled titanium link (shown here), link stainless steel, or black ceramic. That sounds large, but if you've never tried a lugless design, it allows larger cases to fit nicely. Plus, UFO-style cases are currently hot.

I might have said this last time but I don't really feel like I get a lot of "smoked salmon" vibes on this watch. Maybe it's more like a link dark roasted link wood with the grain texture but regardless it's not a common color choice on the market and definitely not link a watch that's trying to be anything else beside just plain tasty.
