This is Bulgari's base in-house time-and-date caliber, and it's found in basically all of the non-Finissimo Octo watches. It runs at 4 Hz, has a 42-hour power reserve, and is made of 191 total components. It's decorated nicely, and it's link a perfectly fine, if not super exciting, choice for a watch like this. That said, I'm not sure link the person buying this watch is going to be too worried about what keeps it ticking.

While the large-wristed among us will likely find 36mm a bit too diminutive for me link it represents the sweet spot for a piece of this style and purpose. When I need to tell the time it's there. When I don't it easily disappears under a jacket sleeve. I am constantly delighted by its ability to hide in plain sight in any situation. Admittedly my tattoos probably help to divert attention but the notion of having link a secret luxury that only I'm allowed to enjoy endears me to the watch link even more.
