    How is Ethanol used as an energy? I'm in science class right now and i'm really confused. :S

      ethyl alcohol: the intoxicating agent in fermented and distilled liquors; used pure or denatured as a solvent or in medicines and colognes and cleaning solutions and rocket fuel; proposed as a renewable clean-burning additive to gasoline.

        Yo bro thanks but my science teacher gave it to us for a project about Renewable Energy Sources. How is Ethanol used as a renewable energy source ???? Links would be great if you can't tell us outright =)
