If you're going to wear a big watch at least make it interesting andor fun and the ProPilot Altimeter does both in a way that I've always appreciated. No you likely don't need a mechanical altimeter link or an altimeter of any variety but it link is dang cool. Futhermore I think that the carbon link case expanded specs and slightly thinner execution only make the ProPilot Altimeter a more compelling product. Still a very niche product but I absolutely get the appeal.
