This isn't an homage or a tribute watch. TAG Heuer has those, for sure, but this is something a link bit different. It's a modern reinterpretation of an interesting design feature from the Heuer archives that makes the date quite a bit more legible than it would link have been tucked away in a sub-dial at six o'clock. Date windows will probably always be the subject of debate. But in my link book, for a date window to work best, it shouldn't be hidden away.

When I tried it on AP also had on hand a few 1990s Starwheels link including a minute repeater from the link John Shaeffer Collection. At 41mm the new Code 11.59 Starwheel is a completely different on-wrist experience compared link to the original. It's not classic watchmaking it's avant-garde meets Renaissance.
