Why If I link had to guess it's probably the same color paint. However the ceramic bezel in each instance is a gold bezel of the appropriate link color with ceramic over the top. The ceramic color red would then be inlaid into the "100" and it's likely thin enough to be influenced by the material underneath. link That's my bet at least. Some people in the office thought there was a chance that the red on the dial of the yellow-gold model was a bit darker too but I couldn't verify that.
