Big news for the Doxa acolytes in the crowd myself included as the brand has just taken the wraps off of the Sub 200T a dive watch that offers a new expression of their link classic Sub 300 design. With a 39mm link case link a host of colors old and new and a price point well below that of the Sub 300 the Sub 200T joins the family as the new entry point for the cult design language of Doxa all you have to do is pick a color.

A few weeks ago in London while visiting link a Grima retrospective at Tomasso Gallery I learned that Grima's appreciation of watch design may have started with an link entirely different brand. In a picture taken in 1969 which was later signed and given to his daughter Francesca we see him wearing what appears to be a Boucheron Reflet which I was told he wore link every day until he designed his own watch.
