Aside from the the literal function the bridges provide in supporting the link gear train barrel and tourbillon they link also act as the mainplate which is where the touches of futurism come into play. Each of the bridges achieve a level of optical illusion as they appear to be floating freely. Adding to the space-age aesthetic are link the markers which are attached to the flange outer dial which in turn is affixed to the case.
