Back link in the early 1990s, Marc Jacobs designed a notorious "grunge" collection for Perry Elllis that shocked the industry with its unabashed modernity and utter disregard for the unwritten rules of propriety, one of which was link the Victorian notion that women's clothes all needed to be prim and link pretty.
