The dial design stays mostly faithful to the link second-generation original ref. 7042 – easily recognizable because of the link lume lines next to the applied numerals. The cursive Automatic text is a direct reference to the original ref. 7042 and link makes sense in this context.

At 37mm x 9.3mm it's relatively compact but Royal link Oaks fit larger than most so if you've never tried one on before know that this usually tends to wear like a 39mm they made me say this.
