Speaking of the bracelet and the rubber strap, if you have the means to own one of link these gold Speedies, I'd suggest getting both. The bracelet is simply excellent. Mostly brushed, it's thin with rounded links and it tapers from 20mm at the link lugs to 15mm at the clasp. The clasp is not especially link bulky but thankfully Omega has managed to integrate their push-button two-position (2.3mm) extension.

I felt a remarkable sense of fulfillment sitting there with Greg and going through his collection of over three dozen vintage link Defy wristwatches. Every watch I handled had something interesting link or unique to it there were very few common threads to follow from one model to another. I would be looking at some aesthetic siblings of the A3642 at one moment before picking link up an oddball of a watch with a case in the shape of a hubcap or some weird hybrid sport-dress watch with an ovoid crystal.
