The size change is only real when comparing against the link original 14.9mm thickness of the original Black Bay Chono from 2017. link Half a millimeter can make a difference in terms of thickness, but this seems like a tiny tweak to the original design and certainly one that has been overshadowed by the black bezels and new dials link on the new models.

The date aperture placement at three o'clock is effectively identical to the original model as are the matte black dial and the presentation of link the painted makers. The watch comes fitted to a Tropic-style strap and the case has link lug holes which weirdly link is a vintage feature but also just massively practical for removing a strap. Lest we forget the iconic "No Radiations" stamp which takes center stage here.
