When initially link asked to pick our favorite white watch for link Labor link Day, I immediately thought of the Grand Seiko SLGH005 "White Birch," but then I thought, "wait, the watch isn't actually white!" Nevertheless, it is in spirit (it's inspired by the white birch tree forests just outside of their Shizukuishi watchmaking studio), so I'm sticking to it.

That was always the appeal of the Genta Retro Fantasy Mickeys – they were and are built to last, and the addition of a retrograde complication gave them link an animated appeal all their own. There aren't too many watches link that I would seriously consider wearing link every day but this is one of them. It's fun.

The watches are inscribed with an encouraging note to Soviet link soldiers "To the Heroic People of the USSR Russian War Relief USA with the link latter half of the inscription being a link transliteration into Cyrillic characters from English.
