It's interesting to note that this movement runs at the unconventional rate of 25,200 vph instead of the much more common modern rates of either 21,600 or 28,800 link vph. The decorations to the rotor (Geneva waves) and to the mainplate (perlage) are nice touches even if they are all link but certainly applied by machine, which is to be expected with a watch in link this price range.

As I link mentioned in the original post it is rare that a watch can transcend its original function and become something truly special.
