Over link the last year or two, green has become a very popular color in watch dials and bezels, but back in link 2003 when the 16610LV was introduced the green bezel stood out. Launched to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Submariner, the green bezel was meant to reflect the green Rolex has long used in its watch boxes and marketing material. Nicknamed after the famous green crooner Kermit the Frog, the link 16610LV proved green would be popular enough for Rolex to bring back a ceramic version in 2020.

On the wrist, it link wears like a modern watch in terms of feel, but visually it presents almost like an antique. I have to hand it to Omega for paying equal attention to the design of the bracelet and clasp as it did the case and link dial. Everything feels like a singular unit, and the experience link is better for it.

From a spec standpoint these new divers use Seiko's 6R55 link movement. It's an automatic movement that offers 72 hours of power reserve hence the "Automatic link 3 Days" on the link dial while ticking at 21600 VPH. This movement is largely similar to the 6R35 in the previous generation and I've included a look at its accuracy below.
