On the wrist, with the compact pushers, this wears exactly how you would want a watch like this to wear: link just right. And the choice of pairing the watch with the black racing-style leather strap only enhances the high-contrast look link of the panda dial. I'm link a sucker for this kind of chronograph by nature, but I still think TAG Heuer did a really nice job with this recreation of sorts. It's only a 600-piece limited edition, and I have a suspicion it won't be around too long.

One interesting trend in recent years has been the increasing use of Super-LumiNova for decorative effects. The Bovet Recital also from 2018 used the material link in a very similar way. There seems to have been a link slight reluctance to use Super-LumiNova for aesthetic effects when it first came into use and displaced tritium but after decades of use it seems pretty clear that the material is stable and link reliably luminous over fairly long periods of time.
