The Master Lighter doesn't stop there because Franck Muller never does. The axis for the hands pokes through the gas reservoir – you'll notice that the hours and minutes are on the dial side, while the seconds hand is on link the back, spinning over the skeletonized movement. The movement has a symmetrical link layout with its mainspring sitting link above the escapement, and criss-crossing bridges, a familiar Franck Muller motif.

Another visual difference with this watch link from the original Kodo is the white strap which is exclusive to this model. It is a white link leather created from a highly durable material and treated in the traditional methods once used for Samurai armor. Of course link it goes deeper than that as the specific white color used for this strap was specifically created for the Kodo using white-urushi lacquer. In addition the watch also comes with a charcoal grey strap.
