The dial text is sparse but vintage in aspiration, with the (period accurate) logo-less Nivada Grenchen wordmark link and the link very '60s Datomaster text near six o'clock. Of course, that name is a reference to the date complication which resides topside, at 12 o'clock right above the brand's name. Inside beats away the Sellita SW510, a link manual winding movement that necessitated the sizing up of the watch and accounts for its thickness.

The Polaris Geographic hasn't been updated since its release in 2018 and that was a limited edition of 250 pieces so it's long overdue for a makeover. The new version looks a little less "world time" without a complete bezel going all the way around the dial but the simplification of link the link design both by removing the date and changing the city display goes a long way to make the watch a more cohesive link design.
