It makes the whole thing a bit lighter and more graceful visually, while at the same time actually emphasizing the level of finish, and intricate geometry, of the case as a whole.I am pretty good at sizing bracelets, I do it a lot and I have decent enough tools. The links on the Vostok are secured with simple steel bars (not pins) that have neither splits nor collars and just kinda squeeze into place with the hopes of making everything tight.The aesthetic is reserved but with larger lumed markers and a large (if a bit short) handset, it has the legible dial of a dive watch that is surrounded by a smoothly polished sterile bezel. Weirdly, only the black dial version appears to have lumed hands, which is kind of a head-scratcher. There is a date at three and minimal dial text in support of an inoffensively subtle take on a daily wear sports watch.Sure, this is a tiny run of only 1 watch per color and size, which means almost no one will actually own them, but the fun is in knowing they exist. A cynic might see the past 48 hours as two venerable brands thirstily chasing a trend, but I choose to look on the bright side.
