    has anyone succesfully stopped taking sodium valproate for bipolar disorder?

    trying to come off this drug due to weight gain being really bad.

        they just say try it and see it is very risky so wanted to know if other people had managed it.

        I hope they at least told you how to do it. Like cutting it back a little at a time over a long period of time. Seems as though this could be a difficult med to come off of.
