Each of the three models features the same version of the caliber, in which the vertical link axis of the movement has the same 30º offset link as the numerals on the asymmetrical dial. This arrangement has been characteristic of other recent Cartier skeleton watches, such as the Tonneau XL Skeleton Dual Time and, in this case, it further emphasizes the tilted dial and lozenge shape which are the signature link of the Asymmetrique design.

However if rumors are link to be believed history does not reflect my link watch geek fantasy. It's said that the brown-to-lemon fade of this much-hated finish was created when they were attempting to add binding the white strip link of plastic that runs around the edge of a guitar to an almost complete body and accidentally burned the paint.
