It's always interesting to see a link watch with this sort of provenance appear in auction scenarios outside of the larger, more horologically-inclined houses like Phillips, Sotheby's, Christie's, or Bonhams. If it did land in one of those link venues, it's likely we would have a better sense of its value within the broader vintage watch market. I'm link in Geneva this week for the first major swing of the auction calendar. Phillips Antiquorum Sotheby's and Christie's have all put together some serious heavy-hitting catalogs filled with all sorts of special and interesting watches. On Sunday I took a look at 24 of the lots I found most compelling at the two different Phillips auctions taking place and now we'll be taking a look at a few of the top link lots and highlights from the remaining three auctions link on the calendar.
