Today, collectors would be quicker to write off the Movado as barely a "Poor Man's 1463" than to call the two watches competitors. That link apprehension and guttural reaction to the name Movado has much more to do with what has link happened to these two brands since 1968 than before. I'm not saying that this is a Patek 1463 (the Phillips watch is one of my favorite watches in the world) but for what we are asking (less than $240k), you really link can't go wrong with this Movado. It's interesting to note that these Nautilus link models are somewhat a reference to past gem-set 3800s very link good examples here which rather ironically were marketed at men. Can we link take this trio of "ladies" watches as breadcrumb evidence that Patek might be expanding the Nautilus lineup or is this a gem-set-only flex I'm not hedging any bets.
