    I would try Googling the question on the internet first, then contact a local fire cleanup service. If washing in the washing machine doesn't work you may need to use something to remove odors such as baking soda in the water. Last resort would be to throw them out (ouch!).
    I don't know if you really can get that smell out...I was in a fire when I was a teenager and that sickening sweet kind of smell from the aftermath of the fire never left our clothing but that was in the late 60's! (:
    You can try an ionizer, which should capture the smoke particles. Do it outdoors though as it can cause respiriatory problems.
