    Why does the U. S. Military get involved in other countries wars?

    for the sake of "democracy" it what the goverment wants us to beleive, but i'm willing to go with "capitali$m"
    I know what the media tells the people, which to some extent is true, but mostly Russia and the U.S. will posture their troops around areas that have strategic value.

    Some of the reasons are in case of war, but a large part of their interest is for natural resources. The U.S. consumes about twenty-five percent of the worlds fuel and has about 5 percent of the population, etc. etc...
    Were in the war for a reason its a war on terror and they started it on 9/11. Its not someone elses war we do it to defend our country because if we dont get involved the war could be on Americas soil any minute
