    My computer mouse and touchpad sometimes dies.

    I can restore function by switching off and re-starting but this takes several minutes. Does anyone know how I can restore my mouse to life by another method?

    I have a wireless mouse so the only time it dies is when it needs new batteries. Pretty sure this is not the answer you're looking for.
