    HEY, where is everybody?

Somebody talk to me! I have nothing to do because of Covid and a shutdown. Are you in the same boat? Tell me a story. Make something up.  LOL!

    Hey there

I sent an email to the Big "Y" to ask him to send a message to the tech team.
I explained in my email how the suspended advertiser's posts are still showing etc.

I was told that " Unfortunetly the tech team was let go because they couldn't afford the costs and that my email will be taken into consideration and he will try to find a solution.

I know akaQA has been dead for a long time but at least it was working.

I'm guessing that the first time their is some major glitch with the site then akaQA will be completely finished.
What I mean is for example: In the past there have been times that nobody could post anything on akaQA because of some major glitch. If this happens again, who's gonna fix it.
    The answer is NOBODY.

akaQA won't be only dead but burried.

I've noticed that suspending someone is almost impossible except that every once in a while, it DOES work. I guess we're pretty much finished here. Most of the members are gone anyway.
Why don't you have skype anymore? What are you doing these days? I haven't heard anything from you for months. You must be doing something "fun"???
I will soon be announcing my departure from akaQA. :(((

Well me and Benny are here Quacker,,And yes Covid has put the brakes on just about everything,,however we are not in lockdown,,we are only getting the odd 1 or 2 transmissions around Aussie..everyone who flys into Aussie goes in to 14 days Quarantine..and sometimes the Virus escapes from the Hotel Quarantine..then there is a bit of a chase to track it down..all going well our vaccines should start jabbing around the end of February..how are you guys going with the jabs..>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

Some restrictions are about to be lifted (for the 2nd time). Pretty slow start on vaccinations up to now. They are saying that they will begin within a couple of weeks, in senior homes first, then health care workers, so the average person will be waiting for a while yet. I think that mask wearing will go on for a long, long time. Stay healthy terry.

You stay healthy Quacker..elderly are high risk,,and Canada has over 800000 cases with 3000 cases a day..but hang in there Quacker,it has to come to an end sooner or later..all the best to you Quacker..>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

Oh no JDB. I just meant that I'm home due to things being closed down (because of Covid protocols). I can't do a lot of activities that I would normally be doing and can't socialize either. How about yourself? Still C-free?
    JDB

Yes now. All 3 of us had it over the holidays.

Oh no! Were you all seriously ill? Do any of you have any remaining side effects?
    JDB

Not at all, it was like a weird cold. There's not really any effects form it yet. Lack of taste lasted of a few weeks. But that was about it.

Good to hear you came through it okay JD..i think you could class you and yours as lucky...hope you stay lucky JD..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

Hi Ducky. It's been a long year of lock downs, hasn't it? I hope you get to cheer on your local hockey team next fall. I miss the travel, live football and soccer ( or as the rest of the world calls it "American Football" and Football ) and the occasional live theater. Summers aren't the same without the steady flow of foodie and music festivals. Doesn't appear any of that will be happening anytime soon either.

Let's hope these elusive vaccines work their magic and that we don't go through this again for another 50 years. Spring is around the corner and outdoor strolls are something to look forward to.

To all the old AkaQA regulars, keep healthy. Cheers !

Hey digger. Can't believe that this lockdown is just beginning to be lifted. I only hope that we aren't locked down for a third time. Yep, missing my hockey team, dining out and various other activities that have been shut down. Why if this goes on much longer, I will be nothing but a little old lady who is totally out of shape. I guess I'll still be a little old lady even when I get back in shape. Haha! Nice to hear from you. :)
