        all those.9 add up if you buy 2gals/liters..you pay 1.9 cents for than you would for just one gallon ,add that times a million gallons

          It's just for effect, like when they put things on sale for ninety-nine cents, some how that makes it seem cheaper to some people, to me I just round it a a penny.
