          The ban came into force on August 1st, 1746 and was lifted in 1782.  I was not aware of this information, but I am now.

            A white gold Condottieri similar to the one in our photographs here sold at Phillips in the frothy times of November 2021 link for HKD 592000 about 75000. I was about to chalk this big result up to "well everyone was throwing money at Phillips in November 2021" but then Phillips sold a pink gold Condottieri last November for HKD 756000 about 96000. link Things were decidedly less frothy by then but link this early Dubuis still managed to cut through the noise.
