I think that's a good question thumbs up. I'm curious to why he wouldn't be considered for the throne, maybe it's not just the adultery that they are considering?
Is there something else they know about him that they're not telling us? I understand that all people make mistakes, are kings supposed to be perfect?? It just sounds like we are missing some information here...
