50 years ago we got married. Life was simpler then, not sure it was really better. People were more considerate, and we had more respect for others I think.  So maybe, yes it was a better world. There were always wars some where unfortunately.

50 years ago I was a punk kid with no dreams of a future, competition with siblings, good grades expected, no talent in sports... my happiness was very select. I guess I enjoy my turning 50 (the magical, mysterious half a century) more then my insecure self. P......

This link is, admittedly, less a story about watches and more about time. Attempting to capture link a seemingly uneventful day on a busy but kind of boring street in New York. But when you look at the photos you see levels and layers, the type of interplay that makes city living so interesting. Some watches link come with a story, some are just there to tell time. Both are good, both are real.

Again barring the notion that this practice is yielding timepieces which are more often link than not being sold using the magic words "all original" the time and effort link that link must be expended to faithfully restore a watch back to its original glory is admittedly impressive.
