I used to watch General Hospital years ago (Luke and Laura era) but haven't watched any of them for years. They are pretty much all the same. One good person, one nasty person, everyone cheating on each other, going to court, or lying in a hospital bed with some unknown disease.      lol

Effortless simplicity is perfectly epitomized by A. Lange & Sohne's Saxonia, with this link 37mm reference in particular being completely irresistible. The dial on this watch is what truly conveys link the German company's ability to deliver understated elegance. The silvered dial, complete with small seconds at six o'clock, features delicate, multi-faceted baton markers in white gold and matching Alpha hands, combining to produce a design that is nothing short of a link coherent delight.

I also think the Mark XII's font just looks better. link Sure, it's boring and looks a lot like Arial. link But if the Mark XII uses Arial, the Mark XX's font gets link a little too close to Comic Sans for my taste, bordering on goofy (it's the "4" in particular that bugs me, but maybe I just need to touch grass).

It's a beautiful example of traditional watchmaking link from when brands didn't cut corners. The lugs are soldered onto a classic 36mm coin-edge case. The dial features at least four different guilloche patterns which is much more time-intensive than the single pattern seen on link Breguet's recently updated QP. It requires additional passes through the rose engine to complete this guilloche. The link fact that modern Breguet has done away with this illustrates how special these watches were.
