Clonge, would it be not easier to change your gun laws, so you won't have to worry about changing your name as it will happen again and again. i still dont understand how you can buy military weapons--- AK 47s.
In theory, of course. In practice, I can't see it happening, since it hasn't happened yet. "Gun lobby", politicians,and people thinking they need anything beyond a handgun for personal protection are all culprits. As I post this, there have been 2 mass murders in the U.S., in the last 13 hours.

Why limit it to a mass murderer? The easiest solution would be for us all to remain nameless and I don't see this happening.

There was a recent mass-murder; the suspect has an apparent uncommon name, but that didn't stop thousands of people from querying an innocent person with the same name, on a popular social media site. I also added "or if it was anyone notorious". You've got nothing to worry about. The only other "country bumpkin" I know of, is in the song. .

No but (more to the point) if I were a citizen of U.S.A., I would be hopping mad and embarrassed every time I hear "Things have to change" or "Thoughts and prayers" or "When will this stop" or "Guns don't kill people...people kill people". Good grief. :(

I'm mad, but not embarrassed. I can't be embarrassed for something that I have no control over.

@terry:If there was a referendum for a ban on assault weapons, I would vote for it. Otherwise, there is nothing that I can do about it. Trump just spoke (10:00 am Aug. 05/19) on TV....the problem? internet, mental illness, video games, etc. and so, as usual, thoughts and prayers and God bless. Gun control? Assault weapons? Nope! "We need to act with urgent resolve". Wait for it.
@Ducky: After a few minutes, I turned Trump off. Why I even bothered to listen, I don't know.
I like to listen to Trump and then to the deafening silence from Republicans. Who could possibly continue to support such a human being? I guess no one likes to admit to a wasted vote nor lose their job due to taking a stand against "MR.Trump"!
The continual negativity towards the American Presiden Donald Trump on this forum is getting really old.
I know he's hated by many, but he's also respected and loved by just as many people and I'm one of them. (I'm referring to his role as the president, not his personal life)

Clonge, I'm sure you've noticed the constant belittling and trashing of the Democrats nearly every time Zorro answers a question, by calling them worthless, idiots, trash, and so on and so on. Even though some people may agree with him just as many people don't agree. His answers and comments are promptly removed when I see them because once again, it's an insult to other members here on akaQA who don't agree with him and insulting groups of people or members of this forum are against the rules. The comment that you made to Bulletman above in the blue section was edited by me because of the remarks you made that break akaQA rules.

Please explain CB, your "love and respect". I MUST know the reason for that since he is demolishing your country! Do you listen to him speak at his rallies? If so, do you agree with him? And today..."Mental illness and hatred pulls the trigger, not the gun". Seriously?
@CB,,I was pretty happy when Trump got elected..however the gloss has worn off a bit,,i know he is not my President,but i thought he would be better than he has been,,but now he does effect me and others,,as the saying goes,when America sneezes we catch a cold,,and at the moment his fight with China is effecting our Aussie dollar,,which in turn effects my Pension that is linked to the share market..when the banks in USA created the GFC,our banks were protected by our APRA,,so it did not effect us as much as other countries,but it did effect us,,but as much as we need USA as a friend,after GFC i hoped we would have stayed at arms length..and after all that,he has to tackle gun control,instead of lip service..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..
