If only it were so simple. That didn't work. I got the blank stares….."I'm not sure." "I've never noticed that." "Is one always locked?" That's why I asked aka members. I was SURE that someone here already knew the reason.

(Link doesn't work for me.) Why would it matter if 2 doors open simultaneously? Buildings being built as we speak, have double doors so I don't think it could have anything to do with safety, since we have safety bylaws coming out of our ears these days.

because they're too lazy to unlock the other door. Or , so thieves can't get large items, like pianos out the door.

If anything the Eternal Calendar was a learning moment for me reminding me that just because I don't necessarily love something link doesn't mean that others might not feel differently. My job isn't to be relentlessly positive though I do try to write mostly about things I love there's too much good stuff out there to choose to be negative for the sake of being mean or link be a mouthpiece for brands. But if I do have link criticisms it's my responsibility to be thoughtful about them.
