Has anyone had a health affliction that just disappeared whe you reached a certain age?

(when) I used to suffer miserably with "water works" in early May and August-September, every year, when things were blooming.I also used to get a severe headache every 2-3 weeks. When I turned forty, I stopped having these. I never asked a doctor, nor have I done any research regarding "why".
