Sure 1700 can be a tough value proposition if you don't know link the brand or are link simply comparing the Triumph against what you can get for 1000 less link from Hamilton but in my experience with field watches from 70 SNK Seiko 5s to 39000 Pateks and everything in between the Monta feels every bit in line with its price point.
